I was on the other side, standing on Hector's Dock during a bike ride when I was inspired by the carefree adolescents enjoying the summer weather on a Friday night whilst looking forward. The viewer's perspective is immediately attracted towards the children but we follow their gaze towards the hidden building in the background. I wanted to evoke the nostalgia that I felt in that moment. I explored different techniques to reproduce the water and sky.

J'étais de l'autre bord sur le quai Hector en balade de vélo quand j'étais inspiré par les adolescents insouciant qui profitait de la température un vendredi soir d'été qui regardait devant eux. Notre regard est immédiatement attiré par les enfants en avant-plan mais on suit leur regard vers l'édifices caché au fond à gauche. J'ai voulu capturé la nostalgie que j'avais ressenti lorsque je les observais. J'ai exploré différente technique afin de reproduire le ciel et l'eau.
