I was walking around with my camera whilst on tour in Stuttgart. After several photos, I started the this drawing about a week and a half before turning thirty. There is something personal in choosing this subject, a stairwell to the unknown. There is almost something transcendent to the image and it felt appropriate at that moment in my life.

In this piece, we see the interraction between nature and urbanism. I hope to evoke the tranquility of a summer's day.

Je me promenais avec ma caméra en tournée à Stuttgart. Suite à plusieurs photo, j'ai commencé ce dessin une semaine et demi avant d'avoir trente ans. Il y a quelque chose de personnelle d'avoir choisi ce sujet, des marches qui mènent vers un inconnu. Il y a quelque chose de quasiment transcendant et ça me sentait approprié à ce moment de ma vie.

Dans cette oeuvre, on voit l'interraction entre la nature et l'urbain. J'espère évoquer la tranquilité d'une journée d'été.
